SA Hip Hop prodigy, Kwesta Dakar has now asked other event organisers to take note after he was rewarded with an award and R100,000 prize money after performing at Maboloka over the weekend.

The “Ngiyaz’Fela Ngawe” mastermind took to social media platform, Twitter, to inform fans of the gesture which to him made his Youth Day.

“I received an award & a R100,000 prize money after my performance in Maboloka (Britz) this weekend. What a nice surprise, I don’t know if other event organizers should start taking notes but this made my #YouthDay!🤑” Kwesta Tweeted.

Kwesta remains one of the most profitable artists in South Africa and was recently named by Forbes Magazine on the the 2018 edition of its Africa Under 30 list.
